About Us
The TreesforBees Nursery is a division of DownUnder Honey Ltd. We are located 6 minutes from Feilding near the town of Cheltenham in the Manawatu. We specilaise in growing Flowering Trees and Shrubs that are known for nectar production and also for producing pollen with high protein levels. We are always on the lookout for new varieties that customers have noticed are visited by pollinators - suggestions are welcome.
​With changes to the landscape in farming in New Zealand and the growth in number of beehives, we realised there was a need for a central place to buy trees that focus on providing pollen or nectar for pollinators. Many nectar producing plants are also loved by our Native birds,
