Flat, round, medium-large fruit with purple/black skin. Flesh is pale-cream with a red stain from the skin, increasing as the fruit ripens. Firm, juicy good flavour. Self fertile in Canterbury, although �Santa Rosa� will improve fruit set. Clingstone and stores well. Ripens February/March.
